The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on amendments to the Floodplain ordinance, which will implement recent changes to the National Flood Insurance Program. These changes are required so that flood insurance may continue to be offered to Canaan properties. Following the public hearings and any revisions, the amendments will be put before the voters at the March town meeting. The ordinance may be viewed at https://tinyurl.com/flood-ord or at the town office. Hearing will be held at the Mascoma Health Center, 18 Roberts Road, Canaan NH.
