The Canaan Board of Selectmen is holding a public hearing at the beginning of the Select Board meetings on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the Canaan EOC (Right Side of Police Station) at 52 NH Route 118 in Canaan for the purpose of accepting $134,981.21 in one-time NH DOT highway assistance funds from the State of New Hampshire. The Board intends to use approximately $80,000 of these funds in conjunction with other appropriated funds to replace two highway trucks; the 2007 International 306 and the 2011 Dodge 411 with the balance being used to fund paving of Canaan Highways in 2023.
