Cardigan Mountain School Provides Community Service
On April 17th, more than 60 students and adult advisors and faculty desended on Canaan Village and Canaan Street to make Canaan ready for the spring. Students raked the Wells Cemetery, the Town beach, took roots out of the area to be seeded at the Meeting House, prepared the ball fields at Williams Field, and raked the senior center and the police station. One of the greatest efforts was removing about 30 years of waste from the third floor of the Library. This very fortunate help was providential as that same area was inspected by the NH Department of Labor for potential OSHA violations the next day. We all appreciate a little sprucing up and the boys and adults from Cardigan Mountain School deserve recognition and thanks for their effort.
Learn more about our thanks for their great contribution in this letter!
